Overview
This workshop is designed to help young people navigate changes with confidence and resilience. Through engaging discussions and activities, participants will explore how to manage stress, maintain balance in school life, and build healthy coping strategies. The session provides hands-on tools to help students stay grounded, adapt positively to change, and know where to seek additional support when needed.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the session individuals will be expected to:
- Recognise and understand the common challenges associated with transitions and changing friendship dynamics.
- Apply practical strategies to manage stress and maintain a healthy balance between schoolwork, social life, and personal wellbeing.
- Identify and practice effective coping techniques that promote emotional resilience and a positive mindset.
- Use grounding tools to stay calm and focused during periods of uncertainty or change.
- Develop confidence in managing social shifts and building supportive, healthy relationships.
- Locate appropriate sources of help and understand how to access support networks when additional guidance is needed.
Target Audience
All young people, in year 7, 11, 12 and 13 in Hertfordshire.
