Road to Year 7 Online Group
Come join our Road to Year 7 Online Group – a friendly and fun space just for Year 6 students getting ready for secondary school.
Starting a new school can feel like a big step, and it’s normal to have questions or worries. In this group, you’ll get to chat with others, share how you’re feeling, and pick up useful tips to help you feel more confident about the change.
Through games, activities, and helpful ideas, we’ll talk about things like making new friends, getting used to a new routine, and staying organised.
You’re not alone – we’re here to help you feel ready and excited for this next big adventure!
Group times
The group will start on Thursday 17th July 2025 at 5pm.

It will run on a weekly basis, for a duration of 10 weeks.
How to access this group
To join this group, we need a referral. You can self-refer to this group. A parent, teacher, or professional can also do this for you.
You can take part in these groups while using other support from us, or you can join them on their own.
If you want to attend, please email us at withyouth@hertfordshiremind.org. A team member will contact you to talk about it. You can also tell your one-to-one worker. After this, we will send you a link and joining instructions.
