Hemel Hempstead and Watford Herts Haven Cafés: Closing 31st May 2025

We want to let you know about upcoming changes to our Herts Haven Café provision, which offers open-access drop-in spaces for children and young people across Hertfordshire to support their emotional wellbeing.

Unfortunately, from 19th May 2025, the Watford Café will close.

The Hemel Hempstead Café will close as of the 31st May 2025,

There are no future sessions planned in these areas.

Our Ware café will continue to run every Wednesday from 3.30pm to 6.30pm.

We’re in touch with children and young people affected by these changes, offering information and signposting to alternative support services.

Need someone to talk to?

Our Ware Herts Haven Café remains open weekly, providing a safe, welcoming space for young people aged 10–19. No referral is needed, just drop in for support and practical help from trained, caring professionals.
